Promed Technologies has recently attended the Africa health expedition which took place from 17 – 19 October 2023 at Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg. The business prided a 48 square meter stand, with exuberant management and directors who collaborated fabulously amongst the 4 collective companies to make the event an astounding victory. At the exhibition, Promed proudly showcased the 4 sister companies, Access Medical, Opulence, Promed Pharmacare, and Promed Technologies. These companies boast an array of high-demand, fast-selling medical disposables, and consumable items along with preventive and post-diagnostic treatments.
Promed technologies attracted an estimate of more than 10,000 healthcare professionals to our stand, amongst over 553 leading international and regional healthcare and pharmaceutical suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers. As a business entity that has future growth and expansion motives to soon expand to other countries across the globe, we stand proud and prominent to present our business at the Africa health expo, this has enabled us to attract mass customers from all over Africa such as Namibia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique and more. This enabled the business to gain exposure to meeting new business partners across borders and creating rapid growth and expansion both in the private sector and government sector. At the exhibition, Promed was given the sporting chance to participate in premeditated meetings resulting in lead generations for visitors organized by the Africa Health team, which resulted in business growth exposure. This resulted in the company being exposed to various purchasers and suppliers for prospect extension. Promed sealed the deals, while we were at the show in showcasing face-to-face, networking, and offering live products along with demonstrations, hence creating meaningful relationships.
Upon interview Nomfundo Mgobhozi, a well esteemed senior sales representative stated that she had been exposed to a spectacular experience and was extremely honoured to be a part of this conversance as she learned about competitors and how, as an entity they go about business, she also stated that she was exposed to an array of new medical products due to technology advancements on the market of which enhanced her knowledge bank to further execute sales, benefitting her in the future. She goes on to state that this has enabled her to initiate a more strategic and profound way of attracting more customers as she has now put into place a master plan based on the management of product knowledge. Nomfudo further adds that she has also gained much understanding of the supply chain and logistics sector as to how goods are imported and exported from other countries. Neville Moodley, who is the national sales manager, stated that for him, it was an extraordinary experience. Promed technologies thrive upon the contentment of their employees, hence the sales teams were delighted when presented with the fortunate occasion of going shopping for brand new clothing items to attend the exhibition.
In essence, by attending the Africa Health exhibition Promed Technologies has experienced a broadening multiplication of sales mainly in the private sector as before attending this event, private sales had been on a constant, but after intense market research and development along with our advanced product knowledge that was gained due to mass exposure, this enabled Promed to triumph and soon gain an excellent market share. This has served as a crossroad due to the business giving the private sector the same level of priority as the government sector.
With more than 10,000 attendees at the show, Promed has met new customers and developed relationships with existing clients. Promed along with the sister companies has gotten significant digital and printed brand exposure before, during, and after the event through the year-round marketing activities.
